About Us

Little Harbour is a small historical outport in rural Newfoundland and Labrador. Traditionally, it has been the home of generations who have earned their livelihood from the sea. Little Harbour is now a destination for people who want a unique experience. An experience of living within an authentic outport whilst connecting with the natural beauty that embodies this unique little harbour. We offer two accommodations: Ocean House and Yellow House. Both properties overlook Iceberg Alley, and are located 3km from Twillingate which boasts the title: “Iceberg Capital of the World.” To connect with the areas natural beauty, here you will find one of the most scenic hiking trails: Lower Little Harbour. It is not uncommon to see 15000 year old icebergs grounded, and the signature blows of humpback whales approaching in the distance.

Where We Are

Ocean House and Yellow House are located in Little Harbour, an old historical fishing community consisting of thirteen families. It is located just off of Route 340 “Road to the Isles” and just 3kms from Twillingate “Iceberg Capital of The World.” The closest airport is Gander International 112km away, driving time approximately one hour and thirty minutes.
